When marketing your business with PPC it is extremely important to be as precise as possible. That’s because you want to make money off of Google and not have Google making money from you. You see, Google makes money from it’s advertisers. So, the more precise you are with your ads, the LESS you have to pay Google to bring visitors to it. So, how what do we mean about being precise? Simple, just make sure that you are creating your ads as relevant to your business as possible. For example, you do not want to create ads around the keyword “animals” when you are marketing “dog” products. Even though a dog is an animal, it is way to broad of a keyword and you will spend a fortune on it. You need to narrow down your ad to as specific and precise as you can possibly get to your product or service. This will in turn get you more sales.
If you don’t pick your market carefully enough, then you may as well just spend all your budget on pvc banners, because they will do a lot more for your website then a poorly picked adword.
