I’m feeling slightly deflated. But I have good reason to feel so! I’ve just learnt that the UK (and I am an Englishman through and through) isn’t exclusive to having a North / South divide–apparently the US also has its very own! And it would have to have one, wouldn’t it? And a fair bit geographically bigger too. For us it’s mushy peas up North and–well–no mushy peas down South. In the States it’s slightly different…
Divide or not, the Enigin team unite all over the States every now and again to help each other out—the fact that they can’t understand each others accents (joke!) doesn’t affect their energy-saving solutions! One of which is apparently the Eniscope.
Whenever I hear the word Eniscope I can’t help but think of all things futuristic. As a small child I decided that anything with ‘scope’ in the title had to have some kind of binocular piece, a flashing light, and probably the word SCOPE in bold font (to really cut the mustard you need that last one). I’m willing to bet that Enigin’s Eniscope is far too advanced to have any of those things, but it does work remarkably in a number of other ways. Some of which are explained in detail at the aforementioned post.
Ah, it’s refreshing to see a team all working together, no matter where they come from. It’s about energy-saving but it’s also about clear communication. Get both and you have potential on your hands.
